General Internal Medicine
The physicians of this practice are Board Certified in General Internal Medicine. Comprehensive and individual medical care is offered to all adults who are cared for in this practice. This includes care of acute illnesses as well as annual examinations and preventive care. The office can give both complete general medical services and is networked to a large specialty community in the St. Francis Hospital network if a referral to a specialist becomes necessary.
The office - based Internal Medicine practice is conveniently located adjacent to the Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center complex. Parking at the Collins Street Parking Garage brings our patients to a central lobby and from there it is a short walk via the connector to the Gengras Medical Office Building. A convenient passenger cart is also available for our patients who are less mobile due to age or handicap. Drs. Polatnick and Tallapureddy and Bogacki are accepting new patients on a regular basis and wait time for an initial evaluation is never long. All our Internists are committed to the area and a long-term, doctor-patient relationship should be anticipated.
The hospital - based practice offers continuity of care and our patients should expect that they will be seen by their own personal physician should an illness require hospitalization. We practice the philosophy of our patients being seen by their personal physician whenever possible. Since our office is located adjacent to the hospital, we are easily able to access our patient's medical records to give the best and most efficient care possible.
